We started this album in the summer- when 2020 was relatively peaceful, and at its least tragic, I guess. As the months slipped by, and we finished the album in late November, the world has taken an increasingly grim turn. Almost everyday seems to add a new, darker chapter to our global story- record breaking infection statistics, spiraling conspiracy theories peddled as news, and a government that has slipped off the rails. Not surprisingly, this little album took an increasingly darker turn as well.
